Hamdan Bin Mohammed Discusses Leadership Development With Graduates Of Uzbek Government Programmes
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, recently met with graduates of Uzbekistan's government leadership programmes in Tashkent. Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, was also present. These initiatives are part of a strategic partnership between the UAE and Uzbekistan aimed at enhancing public service excellence and comprehensive development.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasised the UAE's dedication to nurturing human capital by investing in its workforce's skills across various sectors. This commitment reflects the UAE leadership's belief that national progress is driven by investing in people, recognising human potential as a crucial factor for development.

The UAE has developed a distinctive model for leadership development and capacity-building within its government. Under the guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, significant investments have been made to prepare future leaders and strengthen the national workforce.
Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that graduates from Uzbekistan's leadership programmes will play a pivotal role in advancing innovation and excellence in government services. These individuals are expected to design and implement initiatives that will enhance the quality of life for Uzbek citizens while contributing to the country's ambitious goals.
The UAE fosters collaborative relationships with governments worldwide through mutual knowledge exchange and sharing best practices. The nation's successful leadership development model serves as a cornerstone for international partnerships, offering valuable resources to friendly nations aiming to empower their human capital.
The strategic partnership between the UAE and Uzbekistan, initiated in 2019, prioritises leadership and capacity building among 14 pillars focusing on government service excellence. This collaboration has already achieved remarkable outcomes: over 2.8 million individuals have been trained through more than 681 workshops totalling around 26 million working hours.
Sheikh Hamdan reiterated that these efforts align with the UAE's vision of fostering global partnerships based on mutual benefit. By sharing expertise and resources, both nations aim to achieve sustainable growth and prosperity through enhanced talent development.
