Hamdan Bin Mohammed Engages With Baidu CEO Robin Li At World Governments Summit 2025
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, recently engaged in discussions with Robin Li, Co-Founder and CEO of Baidu. This meeting took place during the World Governments Summit 2025. They explored the importance of partnerships with tech companies to advance national goals through next-generation technologies.
The UAE's business environment and infrastructure have attracted leading tech firms globally. By collaborating with innovative enterprises, Dubai aims to lead in developing future-oriented solutions with significant impacts. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan emphasised this strategy during his conversation with Robin Li.

The meeting was attended by several notable figures including H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence; Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary General of The Executive Council of Dubai; Mattar Al Tayer from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority; and Helal Al Marri from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
