The Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, now in its 56th edition, is the largest gold and jewellery trade event in the region. This year, it saw significant participation from Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman. Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the event features over 500 exhibitors and 1,800 designers from around the world.
The exhibition serves as a strategic hub for businesses to secure deals and expand investments in the UAE and beyond. Leading retailers showcase their latest collections annually, leveraging Sharjah's position as a gateway to a broad customer base. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, noted that strong Gulf participation underscores the exhibition's importance in cementing the UAE's status as a global centre for gold and precious metals trade.

Al Midfa highlighted how the event boosts brand visibility for emerging Gulf designers. He stated that these designers blend traditional artistry with modern elegance. "By this, we can prove to the world that the enduring value of Gulf gold jewellery lies not only in its craftsmanship but also in the heritage-driven narratives featuring its bespoke designs that elevate its global appeal," Al Midfa added.
Saudi-based 4C's Jewellery showcased an extensive collection of gold and diamond pieces. The company emphasised its expertise by offering versatile sets tailored to consumer preferences. Meanwhile, AlMasa Jewellery from Qatar joined this year's edition to strengthen its brand presence in the Gulf market. A company representative described it as one of the most important jewellery trade events in the region.
Bahrain’s Al Shehab Pearls presented an exclusive collection featuring natural Bahraini pearls paired with 21-carat gold and adorned with diamonds, rubies, and emeralds.
