Dubai Crown Prince Announces Golden Visas For Exceptional Educators On World Teachers' Day
Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced Golden Visas for outstanding educators. This initiative honours those who have excelled in Dubai's private education sector, marking World Teachers' Day as a moment to acknowledge their vital contributions.
The announcement highlights the crucial role teachers play in shaping Dubai's future, aligning with the emirate's broader ambitions across key sectors. It also supports the newly launched Education 33 strategy, which emphasises recognising educators who enrich students' learning experiences and enhance their competitiveness both regionally and globally.

The decision to award Golden Visas is in line with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He recently established Emirati Day for Education, celebrated annually on 28 February, to honour contributions by those in the education sector. This initiative reflects deep respect for teachers within UAE society.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed expressed gratitude on World Teachers’ Day: "On the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all teachers and educators. We deeply value their mission and the invaluable role they play in shaping minds, nurturing future generations, and driving the progress of nations."

Golden Visas will be awarded to educators in private early childhood centres, schools, and higher education institutions in Dubai.
