Future Skills Winter Forum 2025 Advances Talent, Innovation And Applied Learning
Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has completed the Future Skills Winter Forum 2025, closing a multi-day programme focused on future readiness. The initiative targeted students aged 10 to 22 and concentrated on building scientific and technological skills. Activities highlighted applied learning, hands-on practice, and systematic support for talent and innovation across structured training tracks.
The forum formed part of the Foundation’s broader agenda to design modern educational models that respond to emerging labour market needs. Organisers stated that Future Skills Winter Forum 2025 contributes to preparing a generation equipped with scientific and technological competencies. These competencies are intended to help students address future challenges while also strengthening national innovation capacity over the long term.

Future Skills Winter Forum 2025 offered more than ten intensive programmes split across talent and innovation tracks. Participants joined foundational and applied courses such as Smart TECH Explorers, Humanoid Robot, FIRST LEGO League, CubeSat, and The 5 Buckets. Innovation-focused modules examined artificial intelligence applications, community-based technologies, and digital agriculture through AI Smart Air Monitor, Community Arcade Challenge, and Digital Green Farm projects.
All Future Skills Winter Forum 2025 activities took place in learning spaces organised for project-based education and teamwork. Students worked in small groups, shared technical tasks, and developed prototypes. This structure supported practical experimentation with robotics, coding, and engineering concepts. It also encouraged peer learning, communication skills, and problem-solving habits linked to real-world scientific and technological contexts.
Humaid Mohammed Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, stated, "The Future Skills Forum represents one of the Foundation’s flagship initiatives that reflects our commitment to providing innovative educational environments that empower students with future-ready skills. The forum is an extension of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support talent and innovation, and to promote applied learning that enables students to discover their potential and expand their scientific and technological knowledge."
Alongside student workshops, Future Skills Winter Forum 2025 hosted a dedicated dialogue session for parents of gifted students. This meeting underlined the family’s role as a key partner in talent development. Parents received explanations of the forum’s educational pathways and discussed how to support their children’s scientific interests, innovative projects, and long-term learning choices at school and beyond.
The final day of Future Skills Winter Forum 2025 included an interactive scientific programme that brought together students, families, and educators. The agenda covered a student project exhibition, scientific presentations, and competitions. Participants were honoured for their efforts, while displayed projects demonstrated practical skills in technology and science. These outcomes reflected the depth of learning achieved through the forum’s structured training programmes.
