Fifth Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup Concludes Successfully In Warsaw, Poland
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup's second edition recently concluded its fifth leg in Warsaw, Poland. This event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan overseeing it. The ceremony saw Mohammed Ahmed Salem Al Harbi, UAE Ambassador to Poland, and H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director-General of the EAHS, crowning the winners.
The competition took place at Janów Podlaski Stud, a renowned horse farm established in 1817. Located along the Bug River, this venue is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Arabian horse breeding. The event featured 63 horses from 33 owners competing over two days in various categories.

This round marked the first European leg of the Cup's second edition. It will be followed by events in Belgium later this month and Italy in November. The programme included qualifying rounds for colts and fillies aged one to three years, as well as mare and stallion categories, culminating in final championships for each division.
In the male categories, Elamir Sahir owned by Lukasz Czech won gold for Yearling Colts. Phoenix Al Miro owned by Miroslav Krzysztof Roguski secured gold for Colts aged two and three years. Evening Star, owned by Horses Poland Spółka, was crowned Champion Stallion.
In the female categories, Nadzieja SW owned by Sławko Czech – Nina Suskiewiczová claimed gold for Yearling Fillies. PSYCHE ROKSANA owned by Krzysztof Bożybieczkiński took gold for Fillies aged two and three years. ANAWERA, also owned by Sławko Czech – Nina Suskiewiczová, won gold in the Mare category.
The EAHGC is a global initiative supporting Arabian horse owners and breeders while promoting their prestige worldwide. It reflects the UAE’s commitment to preserving this heritage activity and highlights its role in safeguarding authentic Arab cultural legacy.
Global Reach of EAHGC
The second edition of EAHGC spans 10 legs across continents following its successful first edition. Earlier this year, Australia hosted the first leg from January 31 to February 2. Bahrain followed on May 1–2, then Morocco from May 9 to 11. The fourth leg occurred in Qingdao, China, in July.
This event underscores Poland's significance as a leading country in Arabian horse breeding with a tradition spanning over six centuries. The Janów Podlaski Stud provided an exceptional setting for showcasing these magnificent animals' beauty and grace.
