Family At Heart Of Sustainable Development Drives DIPMF 2026 Theme Bridging Communities
The Minister of Family, Sana Bint Mohammed Suhail, said the 11th Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) 2026 is a key meeting point for project experts, describing it as a strategic space where decisions on projects directly influence urban life, community wellbeing, and how families experience services and public spaces.
Sana Bint Mohammed Suhail stated that the 2026 edition adopts the theme "Bridging Communities," which strongly reflects the Ministry of Family’s core mission. The Minister said the forum underlines that projects must be built around people and families, not just around structures, deadlines, or technical performance indicators.

The Minister of Family stressed that the national leadership’s vision places the family at the centre of development. Projects should therefore serve every age group, including infants, children, adolescents, youth, senior citizens, and people of determination, ensuring that public services and infrastructure answer real family needs every day.
Sana Bint Mohammed Suhail explained that the Ministry of Family works with public bodies and private organisations to design practical initiatives that support families in their daily routines. These partnerships aim to create environments that encourage stable relationships, positive behaviour, and active interaction among family members, in line with wider development plans for the nation.
She continued, "When we talk about infrastructure projects, we often focus on timelines, budgets, operational efficiency, and technology. However, the reality is that these projects play a pivotal role in reshaping our daily lives: how we move around, where we live, how we raise our children, and when we feel that starting a family is a viable and sustainable option. Therefore, integrated infrastructure project planning is a key pillar for improving quality of life."
The Minister of Family added that research from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) links better transport and essential service access with a 20 to 30 percent rise in family satisfaction and social cohesion in large cities. Strong planning, the Minister noted, reduces pressure on households and allows more time for family life.
At the close of the statement, Sana Bint Mohammed Suhail thanked the Roads and Transport Authority and all organising partners for inviting the Ministry of Family to join the Dubai International Project Management Forum 2026, highlighting that this gathering places project management firmly within wider human and social development goals.
