Middle East Electric Vehicle Show Scheduled For October 2025 At Expo Centre Sharjah
Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) has announced the Middle East Electric Vehicle Show, scheduled for 15th to 18th October 2025. The event will feature over 150 exhibitors from 30 countries, showcasing leading manufacturers and suppliers in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. This announcement was made during a business meeting attended by Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of ECS, and David Wang, Chairman and CEO of MIE Events.
The event will include a two-day conference with more than 50 speakers across 20 sessions. Topics will cover UAE government initiatives promoting green transport, EV adoption in commercial fleets, investment opportunities in the EV sector, and supply chain challenges. Panel discussions and presentations will explore the current and future state of electric-powered transportation.

The show will feature participation from over ten sectors related to the EV industry. These sectors include electric bicycles, hydrogen vehicles, and providers of electric transportation services. Exhibitors will also include manufacturers of EV charging infrastructure and suppliers of hydrogen and electric energy. Automotive dealerships and specialists in fuel cell technology will also be present.
Attendees can expect to see components like motors and electronic control units for electric vehicles. Providers of charging services and integrated renewable energy solutions will also participate. This diverse range of exhibitors highlights the comprehensive nature of the event.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa emphasised that the Middle East Electric Vehicle Show is crucial for unifying efforts towards sustainable transport. He noted that it brings together top global manufacturers, suppliers, experts, speakers, and leaders in the electric transport industry. The event supports UAE's goals for sustainable economic development and its Net Zero 2050 Strategy.

Al Midfa highlighted that the global electric vehicle market is projected to reach US$1.39 trillion by 2029. Meanwhile, the UAE’s hybrid and electric vehicle market is expected to grow to $5.19 billion by 2029 with an annual growth rate of 31.1 percent starting in 2024.
David Wang expressed enthusiasm about choosing Expo Sharjah as the venue for this inaugural edition due to its distinguished reputation in hosting major events successfully. This choice underscores ECS's commitment to supporting sustainable transport initiatives within the region while reinforcing its status as a key player in organising significant international exhibitions.
