Etihad Cargo Boosts Global Reach With Enhanced Summer Schedule For 2024
Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics division of Etihad Airways, is set to expand its belly hold cargo capacity across its global network starting June 2024. The airline's summer schedule will introduce 23 new passenger flights to various destinations and increase existing routes by 77 weekly flights, totalling 100 new weekly passenger flights.
Popular seasonal destinations in Europe will return to Etihad Cargo's schedule. The carrier will offer additional belly hold cargo capacity to Spain, Greece, and France, and launch a new route to Türkiye. From 2nd June, customers can book cargo capacity on three weekly passenger flights to Malaga and two weekly flights to Nice.

Flights to Athens will increase to 14 per week, with two flights operating via Mykonos and two via Santorini. A new route to Antalya will be introduced with three weekly flights. Additionally, weekly flights to Istanbul will increase from 10 to 14 starting from 22nd July.
Etihad Cargo's customers will benefit from increased cargo capacity for Dublin. Three more flights will be offered from 23rd July, bringing the total number of flights to the Republic of Ireland's capital to ten per week.
Middle Eastern Destinations
In the Middle East, Etihad Cargo will introduce three passenger flights to Al-Qassim in Saudi Arabia, a new destination for the carrier. Frequencies to other Middle Eastern destinations will increase by 32 flights per week. This includes seven additional flights to Amman, bringing the total to 14 per week; seven more flights to Kuwait, bringing the total to 28 per week; two more flights each to Bahrain, Beirut, and Muscat; five more flights to Doha; and by mid-July, flights to Cairo will increase to 28 per week.
Expansion in India
The carrier's India network will grow with four weekly flights to Jaipur. Following the launch of Thiruvananthapuram in the carrier's 2023 winter schedule, weekly flights will increase from seven to ten per week due to rising demand. Two new flights to Ahmedabad will bring the weekly total to 17, three new flights to Bengaluru will bring the weekly total to 17, and one additional flight to Kolkata will bring the total to eight per week.
Strengthening Asian Market Presence
Etihad Cargo is also committed to strengthening its presence in the Asian market. The airline will launch a new route with four weekly flights to Bali. Additional belly hold capacity will be offered via an extra weekly flight to Bangkok, bringing the total to 18; eleven more flights to Colombo, bringing the total to 27; three more flights to Karachi, bringing the total to 17; and four more flights to Seoul, bringing the total to 11.
