ENEC And Presight Launch ENECIQ AI Platform To Enhance Decision-Making And Knowledge Sharing
The Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) and Presight have jointly developed ENECIQ, an AI platform aimed at enhancing decision-making and knowledge sharing within ENEC. This initiative is a pivotal part of ENEC's digital transformation, showcasing its dedication to using advanced technology for improved efficiency in corporate functions. The platform integrates AI into ENEC's systems, aiding employees from various departments by providing intelligent support.
ENECIQ is crafted to securely incorporate AI across internal systems, assisting engineers, analysts, and administrative teams with context-aware support. It utilises ENEC-specific knowledge bases to help employees generate insights, automate tasks, and achieve faster outcomes. The platform can summarise technical reports, extract insights from project KPIs and risk assessments, and provide quick access to information.

By embedding AI into daily workflows, ENECIQ allows staff more time for innovation and problem-solving. This development occurs within a secure cloud environment, separate from nuclear reactor operations, ensuring compliance with top data governance standards. Mohamed Al Hammadi, Managing Director and Group CEO of ENEC, stated that integrating cutting-edge technologies elevates their standards of excellence.
Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, highlighted that "ENECIQ sets a benchmark in innovation for sovereign agentic AI deployment within critical national infrastructure." He noted the platform’s integration of secure AI across complex environments where precision is crucial. Delivering AI at this scale requires advanced technology and deep expertise.
This initiative aligns with the UAE’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy and Abu Dhabi’s goal to be a hub for secure AI capabilities. ENEC plays a vital role in providing safe nuclear energy for the UAE's future. Nuclear power's stable electricity generation supports AI infrastructure crucial to the nation's digital economy.
ENECIQ fosters greater knowledge sharing and automation within ENEC. It also creates opportunities for ongoing innovation by empowering employees to explore new AI-driven applications throughout the organisation. This aligns with the UAE’s ambitions for long-term energy sustainability.
Al Hammadi emphasised that their collaboration with Presight helps secure AI capabilities tailored to their needs. "Our continued focus on excellence puts us at the forefront of the nuclear industry globally," he said. This step forward enhances efficiencies at every organisational level.
Pramotedham added that delivering AI within such a mission-critical institution demands rigorous governance. "ENECIQ showcases the transformative potential of sovereign AI in the energy sector," he remarked. It enhances operational resilience and accelerates decision-making while supporting the UAE’s energy ambitions.
The development of ENECIQ represents a significant advancement in integrating AI into critical national infrastructure. By leveraging this technology, ENEC aims to drive efficiencies and support its role in powering the UAE with sustainable nuclear energy.
