Emirates Arabian Horse Breeders Championship Concludes With Titles Awarded Across Multiple Categories
The Emirates Arabian Horse Breeders Championship wrapped up on Friday after four days of intense competition. Organised by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), the event took place at the Butheeb Equestrian Academy. A total of 421 horses, representing 216 owners, participated in this prestigious event.
In the Yearling Fillies category, Sultana BHM from Bin Humaila Stud clinched the gold medal. Balkis Al Noor of Al Noor Stud secured silver, while Falheh Al Hawajer, owned by Ghanem Al Hajeri, took home bronze. The Junior Fillies Championship saw Sheikha Alyah, owned by Mohammed Abdullatif Al Ali, winning gold. Lillian Alsaad and Haya Al Fahaid earned silver and bronze respectively.

The Senior Mares Championship was dominated by J.M.H Hajer, who won gold for owner Juma Al Shemeili. MZ Rafigah claimed silver for Khalifa Al Noaimi, while Roaah Mughaider secured bronze for Rashid Saif Al Zaabi. In the Yearling Colts Championship, JS Romeo emerged victorious with a gold medal for Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Baydaei.
Lahoob TH from Al Thuraya Stud took silver in the Yearling Colts category. Gharbi Alyah, owned by Hamad Ahmed Abdullatif Al Ali, finished with a bronze medal. The Junior Colts Championship was fiercely contested. A L A Sinjar won gold for Mohammed Buti Alabduli. Sarab BHM and Dahim Al Jawaher followed with silver and bronze medals respectively.
The event concluded with the Senior Stallions Championship where Ramz Alyah won gold for Mohammed Ahmed Abdullatif Al Ali. JS Al Sultan of Al Jawaher Stud earned silver, while Falah Al Hawajer took bronze for Ghanem Al Hajeri. Separately, the Arab Breeders Championship commenced on Friday afternoon at Butheeb Academy.
This new competition featured 103 horses from around 57 owners. The opening day included Yearling Fillies (Sections A and B), Two- and Three-Year-Old Junior Fillies (Sections A and B), Mares (four years and above), and Yearling Colts (Sections A and B). Saturday’s schedule began with Junior Colts (Sections A and B) followed by Stallions (four years and above).
The programme concluded with six finals: Yearling Fillies and Colts championships, Junior Fillies and Colts championships, as well as Senior Mares and Stallions championships. This comprehensive event showcased exceptional talent among Arabian horses across various categories.
