EDGE Group Debuts At DIMDEX 2026 With Comprehensive Defence Capabilities
EDGE Group is set to take part in the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference for the first time as a Main Sponsor at DIMDEX 2026, signalling a stronger presence in Qatar and the wider Gulf, and highlighting plans to work more closely with regional defence and security decision-makers.
The company links this move to a wider regional strategy that targets long-term cooperation with armed forces and security agencies across the Middle East. EDGE plans to showcase integrated capabilities, spanning multiple domains, that are already in operational use worldwide and are intended to match the changing security priorities of regional partners.

Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO, EDGE, said, "Our first presence at DIMDEX reflects how EDGE is approaching the region with confidence and purpose. This is about showing the depth, maturity, and coherence of our defence capabilities within the regional landscape. We are positioning EDGE as a long-term partner of choice, bringing globally competitive, integrated solutions that are ready to support the evolving security priorities of the region."
At DIMDEX 2026, EDGE intends to display a targeted cross-section of its defence portfolio, structured around air, land, maritime, electronic warfare, and space-related solutions. The selection is planned to emphasise mission integration across these domains, while underlining scalable options that align with varied operational demands and budget levels faced by regional customers.
In the air domain, EDGE will focus on precision strike, border surveillance, and force protection tools. The SHADOW 25 and SHADOW 50 loitering unmanned aerial vehicle systems are designed for rapid action against fixed targets. These systems are supported by RASH 1M, RASH 2M, and RASH 2H precision-guided munitions, intended for patrol missions, border security, and engagement of high-value threats.
The THUNDER family of aerial munition guidance kits, which includes THUNDER P31, THUNDER P32, and THUNDER P34, is designed to provide adaptable and cost-conscious strike options. EDGE’s land presence at the event will include the AJBAN MK2 and HAFEET MK2 platforms, which are configured for mobility, protection, and mission flexibility across varied terrain and operational scenarios.

EDGE defence solutions at DIMDEX 2026: maritime and sensing capabilities
EDGE’s naval portfolio at DIMDEX 2026 will target demand for multi-role vessels that can support different maritime tasks. The FALAJ 3 and FA400 offshore patrol vessels, together with the 170 M-DETECTOR platform, are designed for surface warfare, transport, surveillance, and broader maritime domain awareness, with emphasis on modular layouts and integration of unmanned assets.
Electro-optics and sensing systems form another important element of the display. EDGE plans to present the KASHIF 600 lightweight stabilised gimballed system for unmanned aerial vehicles and ground robotics. The line-up will also include the MIRSAD NG, MIRSAD R, and MIRSAD X surveillance and targeting systems, along with the TAWAQ S surveillance radar for continuous detection and situational awareness.
EDGE DIMDEX 2026 defence showcase: electronic warfare, non-lethal and space
In the electronic warfare domain, EDGE will highlight tools intended to protect operations in contested electromagnetic environments. The BORDERSHIELD autonomous border surveillance and security system will feature alongside the GPS PROTECT 2 and GPS PROTECT 4 platforms, which are designed to provide anti-jamming protection for GPS receivers in complex operational theatres.
The stand will also include non-lethal technologies and ammunition supplied by CONDOR and LAHAB Defence Systems, aiming to offer a wider spectrum of response options for security forces. Completing the display, EDGE will present the ZENITH sovereign space operations and data orchestration platform, which is intended to support space-based services and data integration for defence users.
Through this combined presentation at DIMDEX 2026, EDGE is seeking to underline its role as a regional partner, with solutions that span air, land, sea, electronic warfare, non-lethal systems, and space. The focus remains on compatibility with current operational needs in Qatar and the wider Middle East defence landscape.
