Dubai: Up To Dh50,000 Fine For Violating Eid Al Etihad Celebration Guidelines
Dubai Police have issued guidelines for the 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations to ensure safety and order. The public is advised to avoid unplanned marches and gatherings, adhere to traffic rules, follow police instructions, and refrain from using party sprays. These measures aim to prevent risks and disruptions during the festivities.
Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Acting Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs at Dubai Police, highlighted the importance of keeping vehicle license plates visible. He advised against altering vehicle colours or tinting windscreens. Stickers or logos on cars should only be related to Eid Al Etihad and must comply with official guidelines.

Al Mazrouei stressed that vehicles should not have stickers covering windows or use sunshades that block visibility. Performing stunts on roads and obstructing traffic are prohibited. Unauthorized modifications or features causing noise or vision obstruction are also banned.
The number of passengers in a vehicle should not exceed the limit, and no one should hang out of windows or sunroofs. Most violations fall under Decree No. 30 of 2023, which can result in a fine of up to AED50,000 for releasing an impounded vehicle.
Dubai Police will deploy all resources to ensure successful celebrations, reflecting the emirate's reputation. Traffic patrols will focus on road safety, smooth traffic flow, and preventing congestion for the comfort and safety of all road users.
The General Traffic Department has collaborated with partners to finalise traffic plans ensuring smooth movement during events. These plans aim to minimise accident risks and deter violators effectively.
