Dubai Land Department And Emirates NBD Collaborate To Advance Real Estate Ecosystem In Dubai
Dubai Land Department (DLD) and Emirates NBD have entered into a cooperative agreement to enhance the real estate sector's efficiency. This partnership aims to create a framework for regulatory and technical studies, focusing on improving real estate transaction registration processes. The collaboration seeks to deliver innovative financial solutions that enhance customer experience and support investors in their property dealings.
The partnership will focus on two key studies. The first study aims to optimise the registration process for real estate transactions conducted outside the UAE. The second study will explore financial services that simplify the registration of real estate sales transactions. These efforts are designed to attract international investors by simplifying processes and enhancing trust in Dubai's dynamic real estate market.

Omar Hamad BuShehab, Director-General of Dubai Land Department, stated, "We are continuously working to develop innovative solutions that place the customer at the centre of the real estate ecosystem and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and market transparency." This collaboration is seen as a step towards strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for real estate investment.
This initiative aligns with Dubai’s D33 Economic Agenda, which aims to position the emirate among the top three economic cities globally. It also supports the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, which focuses on building a resilient and competitive sector driven by innovation. The partnership reflects a commitment to providing a supportive regulatory environment that promotes sustainable growth and elevates investor experiences both locally and internationally.
Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Emirates NBD, commented, "This partnership with Dubai Land Department represents a significant milestone in our commitment to innovation and delivering customer-focused solutions." He emphasised that integrated offerings under this collaboration will enhance property transaction experiences while building confidence among market participants.
Integration of Government and Financial Institutions
The collaboration serves as an effective model of integration between government entities and financial institutions. It supports Dubai’s efforts to build a real estate ecosystem capable of adapting to future business environment shifts. This partnership is expected to drive further progress in digital transformation and service excellence within the sector.
The joint efforts between DLD and Emirates NBD aim to establish a shared knowledge base that opens new horizons for advancing real estate registration services. By focusing on customer-centric solutions, this partnership seeks to reinforce confidence in Dubai's real estate sector, ensuring its leadership position globally.
