Dubai International Chamber Launches First Representative Office In Poland To Strengthen Economic Ties

Dubai International Chamber, part of Dubai Chambers, has launched its first office in Eastern Europe, located in Warsaw, Poland. This strategic initiative aims to bolster economic ties and explore trade and investment opportunities between Dubai and Poland. The opening ceremony was attended by Mohamed Ahmed Salem Farea Alharbi, UAE Ambassador to Poland, and Michał Jaros, Secretary of State at Poland's Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

The establishment of the Warsaw office is a significant step towards achieving the goals of the ‘Dubai Global’ initiative. This initiative plans to set up 50 international offices by 2030 to enhance Dubai’s status as a global business hub. It also aims to attract foreign direct investment and support Dubai-based companies' expansion into 30 key global markets.

Dubai Chamber Opens Office in Poland

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, remarked on the importance of this new office. He stated that it represents a crucial step in strengthening the partnership between Dubai and Poland. "The new representative office in Warsaw marks an important step in strengthening the partnership between Dubai and Poland and supporting the expansion of bilateral economic ties," he said.

The Warsaw office will play a pivotal role in aiding businesses from both regions. It will collaborate with Polish businesses to strengthen ties with key stakeholders in both public and private sectors. Additionally, it will promote Dubai’s competitive edge as a global business destination while offering insights into the Dubai market for Polish companies looking to establish themselves there.

This launch coincides with growing trade relations between Poland and Dubai. In 2024, Dubai's non-oil trade with Poland reached AED7.2 billion, marking a 5% increase year-on-year. By mid-2025, 453 Polish companies were active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, including 86 new additions in the first half of the year.

Supporting Market Expansion

The new office will assist Dubai-based companies aiming to enter the Polish market by providing access to market intelligence and identifying potential trade opportunities. It will also connect them with reliable local partners to facilitate their market entry and growth.

The presence of this office underscores the robust bilateral ties between Dubai and Poland. It highlights the increasing interest among Polish businesses in leveraging opportunities within Dubai's dynamic market environment.

This development signifies a commitment to fostering mutual trade and investment flows while supporting Polish companies in expanding globally through Dubai’s strategic advantages as a world-class business hub.
