Dubai Future Forum 2025 Opens With Global Experts Discussing Future Foresight And Technology
The Museum of the Future recently inaugurated the Dubai Future Forum 2025, marking it as the largest global event for future foresight. This gathering brought together experts, thinkers, and leaders from around 100 countries. They discussed rapid changes across various sectors and explored opportunities driven by advanced technologies, human knowledge, and artificial intelligence.
Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, highlighted that this fourth edition attracted 2,500 participants, the highest number since its inception. He noted that Dubai sees future challenges as new opportunities. The programme includes over 70 sessions with 200 speakers discussing artificial intelligence, digital transformation, education, and health.

Lucie Berger, EU Ambassador to the UAE, stated that the forum offers a platform to discuss intergenerational justice and youth inclusion in decision-making. She stressed that the EU has long engaged younger generations in climate action and Sustainable Development Goals. Strengthening international cooperation is crucial for building a sustainable future.
Florence Gaub from NATO Defence College remarked on the forum's global diversity. She said it unites specialists from different continents and emphasised that collective work integrating youth capabilities is essential for the future. While AI aids data analysis and security, it cannot replace human creativity or strategic thinking.
Lina Elkurd from UNICEF Gulf Area Office explained that UNICEF's involvement aims to prioritise children's rights in future design. The Future Child exhibition was organised with Dubai Future Foundation and involved youth from UNICEF’s foresight programme to address challenges children may face in the future.
Dr. Mohamed Qasem of Dubai Future Academy praised Dubai as a global model for building future capabilities through specialised programmes like Dubai Future Experts. Participants experience emerging technologies such as lab-grown food and teleoperated robots developed in the UAE.
Dubai’s Vision for Innovation
The forum continues at the Museum of the Future with extensive international participation. This reflects Dubai’s status as a leading platform for anticipating vital sector futures and advancing innovation pathways worldwide. The event underscores Dubai's commitment to being an international centre for future-making.
