Dubai Emiratisation Forum Highlights Solid Partnerships For Sustainable Development And National Talent

The Dubai Emiratisation Forum opened at the One&Only One Za’abeel Hotel, under the theme ‘Solid Partnerships for Sustainable Development’, with H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attending. The gathering highlighted Dubai’s push to build national human capital and advance Emirati employment, skills, and leadership in key sectors.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, the Forum positioned itself as a core platform for Emiratisation efforts. Discussions focused on aligning government, private companies, and educational institutions to strengthen the competitiveness of Emirati professionals and support long-term sustainable development goals in Dubai.

The event brought together Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, and Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department. Directors general, senior officials, business leaders, and academic representatives also attended, reflecting broad institutional support for preparing national talent and enhancing future-ready capabilities.

In his keynote address, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori affirmed the Dubai Emiratisation Council’s commitment to strengthening the readiness of national talent in Dubai. He praised partners for supporting Emiratisation goals, creating opportunities for Emirati youth in the labour market, and contributing to Dubai’s development as a leading model for investing in people and shaping the future.

Dubai Emiratisation Forum drives targets for Emirati employment

During the Forum, the Emirates Human Resources Development Council introduced the ‘Dubai Ambition’ initiative. The programme targets the employment of 5,000 Emiratis in the private sector this year, and plans training and development programmes for 20,000 Emirati students and graduates, in coordination with public and private sector partners.

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also posed for group photos with 29 graduates of the Chief Financial Officer Programme, designed to develop Emiratis into capable financial leaders who can manage institutions effectively. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed likewise met partners of the ‘Tomouh Dubai’ initiative, which also supports national talent development.

The Forum served as a meeting point for Emiratisation partners to exchange ideas, present initiatives, and align efforts with Dubai’s human development priorities. The agenda underlined the council’s commitment to nurturing national talent, improving skills and employability, and supporting the leadership’s wider vision for sustainable development in the emirate.
