Dubai Culture And Emirates Intellectual Property Association Sign MoU To Boost Intellectual Property Awareness

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has partnered with the Emirates Intellectual Property Association to enhance cooperation in intellectual property. This agreement aims to coordinate initiatives and events that highlight the significance of intellectual property. Both parties are committed to supporting the knowledge economy and promoting intellectual property protection, thereby increasing legal and cultural awareness among community members.

Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, emphasised the Authority's role in fostering innovation and creativity while ensuring comprehensive intellectual property protection for professionals, creatives, innovators, and entrepreneurs in the UAE. She stated: "The country is witnessing a dynamic cultural movement, and thanks to the protection and preservation of intellectual property rights, it has become an ideal place to live and work and thrive."

Dubai Culture and EIPA Sign Strategic MoU

Dubai Culture aims to create an environment that safeguards intellectual property rights across literary, intellectual, and artistic domains through various projects. The partnership with EIPA aligns with efforts to bolster cultural industries, positively impacting the knowledge economy. This collaboration supports Dubai's vision of becoming a global culture centre, creativity incubator, and talent hub.

Major General Dr. Abdul Quddoos Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly from EIPA expressed pride in this strategic partnership.
