Dubai Chamber Of Digital Economy Aids Establishment And Growth Of 582 Startups In Nine Months Of 2025

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, has facilitated the growth of 582 digital startups in the first nine months of 2025. This reflects efforts to establish Dubai as a global hub for digital business. Artificial intelligence led the sectors, making up 21% of supported companies. HealthTech, Software-as-a-Service, and FinTech together comprised 17%. International firms made up 70% of these startups.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, stated, "In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, we remain committed to consolidating the emirate’s position as a central hub in the global digital economy. We are building an advanced business environment defined by agility, readiness, and innovation to keep pace with rapid technological change, while enabling digital companies to grow and expand from Dubai into global markets. This strengthens the emirate’s appeal as a leading destination for digital investment and tech talent, as well as a global testbed for developing and deploying new-economy solutions in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33)."

Dubai Chamber Supports 582 Startups in 2025

The chamber's 'Business in Dubai' platform plays a crucial role by offering institutional services through partnerships. It aids companies in finding partners, investors, and clients. During this period in 2025, 47% of supported firms used establishment assistance along with accelerator and incubator services. Meanwhile, 32% utilised various business support services available on this platform.

Between Q1 and Q3 2025, four reports were launched by the chamber. These included 'The Entrepreneur’s AI Playbook,' which educates entrepreneurs on AI tools for launching and scaling businesses effectively. Other reports covered topics like the Expand North Star exhibition and foreign direct investment destinations across technology sectors.

In addition to these initiatives, the chamber organised 15 events during this time to bolster partnerships within key digital economy sectors. Sixteen international roadshows were also held across global markets showcasing Dubai's digital economy strengths while exploring cooperation opportunities with stakeholders.

Global Engagement

The roadshows highlighted Expand North Star's significance as the largest event for startups and investors worldwide. These missions spanned 17 cities including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Singapore, UK, US Vietnam South Korea among others. The chamber engaged with over 2,140 representatives from digital startups ecosystem partners investors incubators during these missions.

This strategic approach underscores Dubai's commitment to fostering a thriving digital ecosystem that attracts global tech talent investment opportunities while positioning itself at forefront innovation-driven economic growth globally.
