Dubai Chamber Of Commerce Successfully Organises 301 B2B Meetings In Armenia To Boost Trade

Dubai Chamber of Commerce has wrapped up its trade mission to Georgia and Armenia. In Armenia, the chamber facilitated 301 business meetings between Dubai companies and Armenian counterparts. These interactions aimed to explore new partnerships and boost trade and investments between the two regions.

A business forum titled ‘Doing Business with Armenia’ was held in Yerevan. Organised by Dubai Chamber of Commerce, it was supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia, UAE Embassy in Yerevan, Ministry of Economy of Armenia, Enterprise Armenia, and Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia. The event attracted 237 participants including officials, business leaders, and local company representatives.

Salem Al Shamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, stated: "This trade mission to Armenia represents a significant step in our strategic efforts to unlock the vast potential of the Caucasus region for the business community in Dubai. We are dedicated to providing Dubai-based companies with the platforms and support they need to forge strong international partnerships, enhancing their competitive edge on the global stage and driving mutual economic growth."

Dubai's non-oil trade with Armenia has seen substantial growth. It increased from AED14.6 billion in 2023 to AED25.7 billion in 2024, marking a 76% rise. By June 2025, around 500 Armenian businesses were registered as active members of Dubai Chamber of Commerce.

The forum highlighted Dubai’s vibrant business environment and its advantages for Armenian companies. Presentations from both Dubai Chambers and Enterprise Armenia showcased opportunities for companies aiming to expand internationally.

Potential Sectors for Collaboration

The chamber identified promising sectors for exports from Dubai to Armenia such as electronic equipment, motor vehicles and parts, beauty products, nickel, and woven fabrics. For investments by Dubai-based firms in Armenia, sectors like retail consumer goods; logistics services; hospitality; travel and tourism; food and beverage; ceramics; glass; ICT; and consulting services were highlighted.

The delegation included representatives from 16 diverse Dubai-based companies. These firms operate in sectors like automotive industry; building materials; construction; energy; renewables; food and beverages; healthcare; pharmaceuticals; industrial engineering; chemicals; shipping; and logistics.

This mission underscores the commitment to fostering international partnerships that benefit both regions economically. The focus remains on creating platforms that enhance competitiveness globally while exploring new avenues for collaboration.
