DoE And ADAFSA Sign Agreement To Enhance Data Sharing For Agriculture And Food Security
The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE) and the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) have formalised a Service Level Agreement (SLA). This agreement focuses on cooperation and data sharing for the Agriculture and Food Security Data Platform in Abu Dhabi. The signing was attended by Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jawan, Chairman of the DoE, with Engineer Ahmed Mohammed Al Rumaithi and Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri signing on behalf of their respective organisations.
Al Rumaithi highlighted the importance of this collaboration with ADAFSA, emphasising its role in establishing a strong data ecosystem. This ecosystem is crucial for shaping future policies in energy and agriculture sectors. He also pointed out that artificial intelligence technologies will be utilised to predict future trends and ensure sustainability.

Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri expressed that this partnership underscores a mutual dedication to achieving Abu Dhabi’s vision of a sustainable food system.
