Digital Government Authority Unveils Results Of 2025 Digital Experience Maturity Index With Advanced Rating
The Digital Government Authority has revealed the 2025 Digital Experience Maturity Index results, achieving an "Advanced" rating with a score of 86.71%. This index evaluates 50 digital platforms using four main perspectives and 20 indicators, such as user satisfaction, experience, complaint management, and technology use. The assessment aims to enhance digital service quality and improve user satisfaction.
Ahmad Bin Mohammed Alsuwaiyan, Governor of the Digital Government Authority, highlighted the commitment of government bodies to elevate digital services. He noted that these efforts are part of a national strategy to provide a seamless, secure, and efficient digital experience. This approach aims to boost quality of life, streamline business processes, and improve government operations.

This year's evaluation placed particular importance on the digital inclusion sub-index, which scored 75.30% and was rated as "Competent." This reflects an increasing awareness among government entities about designing accessible digital services for all societal segments, including people with disabilities and older adults.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have been pivotal in supporting this digital transformation journey. Their backing has significantly contributed to advancing these initiatives.
The top 10 platforms excelled in this year's index by achieving "Advanced" levels. Absher led with a score of 93.95%, followed by ZATCA at 93.25%, Tawakkalna at 91.89%, Etimad at 91.43%, Qiwa at 91.06%, Ehsan at 90.95%, Ministry of Tourism portal at 90.78%, GOSI platform at 90.35%, Sehhaty application at 89.71%, and Senaei platform at 89.58%.
Compared to last year, the index showed growth in scope and engagement. Evaluated platforms increased from 39 to 50, while participating beneficiaries surpassed 374,000 individuals.
Global Recognition
The Kingdom's efforts have gained international acclaim, ranking first regionally in the Electronic and Mobile Government Services Maturity Index for 2024 by ESCWA. Globally, it secured fourth place and ranked second among G20 nations in the UN Digital Services Index for the same year.
The Digital Government Authority continues to refine its methodology for the Digital Experience Maturity Index annually. This ensures alignment with global trends and reinforces Saudi Arabia's leadership in digital transformation.
