DFF Launches FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Programme Engaging 42 Leaders From 15 Countries
The Dubai Future Academy, under the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has introduced the "FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Programme." This four-week initiative involves 42 visionary leaders from 15 countries. Participants engage in 33 interactive workshops, hands-on experiences, and panel discussions at the academy's headquarters.
Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Deputy Managing Director of DFF, welcomed attendees. He highlighted that rapid changes across sectors offer unique opportunities. Al Olama emphasised the importance of leveraging foresight tools and emerging technologies to prepare for future shifts.

Al Olama encouraged participants to use this programme to enhance their leadership and strategic planning skills. He urged them to apply their newfound knowledge to develop a comprehensive vision for their sectors' future, benefiting both their communities and organisations.
The programme attracted over 1,500 applications from nearly 100 countries. A specialised committee evaluated these applications based on specific criteria to select the final participants. The chosen individuals include C-level executives, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, policymakers, government officials, and specialists focused on designing the future.
The programme features 22 distinguished speakers and experts in foresight and future thinking. Notable speakers include Professor Fadel Adib, Professor Paul Saffo, Dr. Michael Shermer, Dr. Steven Novella, Dr. Danielle Belardo, Dr. Hassan Fahad Albalawi, Dr. Ant Rowstron, among others. They deliver high-quality talks and provide experiential insights into future technologies.
Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of DFF, noted that this is a first-of-its-kind programme in the region. It offers participants a comprehensive educational experience with field visits to major organisations exploring future trends and innovations. Tours to UAE's innovation hubs showcase the latest technological advancements.
Field Visits and Collaborative Opportunities
Throughout the month-long programme, global talent will work on developing impactful projects aimed at shaping society's future. Participants will also have opportunities to exchange expertise and explore collaboration possibilities across various sectors.
Dubai Future Academy organises visits for participants to key innovation hubs in Dubai and across the UAE as part of the programme. These visits highlight technological advancements by entities like Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Dubai Future Labs, Museum of the Future, and Digital School's recycling partner facilities.
This initiative aims to equip leaders with skills necessary for navigating future challenges while fostering innovation within their respective fields.
