BRIDGE Summit 2025 Highlights The Future Of Creativity And Art In An AI-Driven World

At the BRIDGE Summit 2025, held at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi from 8–10 December, Chinese creative influence was a focal point. Yang Lan, a prominent Chinese broadcast journalist and media entrepreneur, captivated attendees with her insights on art's future in an AI-driven world. Her session highlighted how digital art and technology are transforming creativity in China and globally.

Lan, Co-Founder and Chairperson of Sun Media Group and the Sun Culture Foundation, shared her vision during a session titled ‘The Future of Art Is Felt, Not Just Seen’. She explained how artists in China are integrating psychology, science, heritage, and urban design through new technologies. This shift is changing how audiences experience and interpret art.

Future of Art Explored at BRIDGE Summit 2025

Lan showcased innovative examples from the Hengqin–Macau International Digital Art Expo. Visitors there engaged with biometric-driven environments and explored imagined underwater ecosystems created by sensors on oysters. They also interacted with 3D recreations of museum artefacts. These experiences illustrate a cultural shift where art is becoming a multi-sensory experience shaped by data and emotional presence.

She described this movement as part of a broader wave of experimentation among young Chinese creators and technologists. "We are living in a very exciting age," she said, "when we call for a new ecosystem of media, of artistic and design revolution… of the creation, exhibition, experience, and the trade of digital IP in the future. And using blockchain, I think that’s coming before we can expect."

The UAE's commitment to contemporary artistic expression made BRIDGE Summit 2025 an ideal platform for Lan's exploration of digital creativity. The summit featured over 300 sessions reflecting its scale and ambition. Lan's presentation was part of this extensive program that aimed to showcase cutting-edge developments in art and technology.

Lan guided audiences through the emergent wave of AI-powered creativity. She illustrated how artists across China are increasingly merging various disciplines through technological tools. This evolution is redefining how audiences encounter creative work.

The BRIDGE Summit 2025 served as an important venue for discussing these advancements. It provided a space for exploring how digital art is reshaping creative landscapes not only in China but also worldwide.

The event underscored the importance of interdisciplinary experimentation in today's artistic world. As Lan emphasized, this era calls for new ecosystems that revolutionize media, art, design, and digital IP trade using technologies like blockchain.

This gathering highlighted the ongoing transformation within the arts sector driven by emerging technologies. It showcased how these innovations are influencing both creators and audiences globally.
