BRIDGE Delegation Meets Egypt’s Leading Media Institutions Ahead Of 2025 Summit
The BRIDGE Summit 2025, a major event for media, content, and entertainment, is set to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 8–10. This gathering will feature global media leaders and decision-makers. As part of its preparations, a BRIDGE delegation led by Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi visited Cairo for high-level meetings with key Egyptian media entities.
During the visit, the delegation engaged with Egypt's National Media Authority (NMA) and United Media Services (UMS). These discussions aimed to present BRIDGE’s vision of creating a global platform that fosters cooperation in media, content, and entertainment. The focus was on enhancing communication in sectors shaping public awareness and cultural identity.
Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi stated, "Through BRIDGE Summit, we are creating a strategic platform to shape the future of media and content on more humane and balanced terms, combining technology with creativity, and culture with innovation." He emphasised Egypt's crucial role as a founding partner due to its rich heritage and creative talent.
Ahmed Al Moslemany, Chairman of NMA, highlighted Egypt's historical role in supporting Arab culture through media. He noted that BRIDGE’s vision enhances this position by linking it to a global system. "We see BRIDGE as a bridge for openness and collaboration," he said, stressing Egypt’s commitment to being an active partner.
The delegation also met Tarek Nour from UMS, which manages over 40 companies across various media sectors. Nour praised BRIDGE’s timing amid rapid technological changes. He expressed UMS's readiness to collaborate with BRIDGE for regional and global benefits.
Tarek Nour remarked on the UAE’s leadership in pioneering initiatives that extend beyond its borders. He commended the UAE for building one of the world’s greatest national brands capable of leading such a large-scale project while maintaining balance and shared interests.
Global Roadshow Highlights
The Cairo meetings were part of BRIDGE's global Roadshow ahead of the 2025 Summit. This stop was pivotal due to Egypt's significant influence in media and culture. The discussions enriched the preparatory dialogue for the upcoming event in Abu Dhabi.
Egypt’s involvement is part of the broader BRIDGE 2025 Roadshow that has already visited New York, London, Osaka, and Shanghai. This underscores the Summit’s aim to be a unifying platform reflecting cultural diversity while connecting East and West.
