The forum delved into ethical responsibilities in content production and how innovation and digital governance shape libraries' futures. Participants stressed equipping professionals with skills to manage these changes while contributing to cultural and knowledge development. Continuous professional development through training programmes was highlighted as essential.

Experts recommended that libraries transition from being mere service providers to active knowledge partners offering precise research support. This shift involves launching digital initiatives to develop smart research skills within the community. Smart tools like virtual assistants were suggested to aid the academic sector.

The forum concluded with several recommendations aimed at strengthening knowledge environments for the AI era. Participants emphasised flexible staffing models allowing employees to assume multiple roles, alongside clear ethical frameworks ensuring responsible AI use and intellectual property protection.

Libraries were encouraged to expand their social roles by supporting lifelong learning initiatives and improving access to knowledge. This expansion would help libraries become more integral parts of their communities, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Overall, the event underscored the importance of adapting to digital transformation while maintaining ethical standards. By embracing these changes, libraries can better serve their communities and remain relevant in an increasingly digital world.
