Arqaam Capital To Host The 12th MENA Investor Conference In Abu Dhabi On May 19-20, 2025
Arqaam Capital is set to host the 12th Annual MENA Investor Conference on 19th and 20th May 2025 at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi. This event, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, will bring together over 500 senior executives, global investors, economists, and policymakers to explore emerging trends and investment opportunities in the region's capital markets.
The conference theme, "From Vision to Value Creation: Navigating MENA’s Market Transformation," highlights regional macroeconomic shifts and Abu Dhabi's industrial diversification strategy. It will also delve into AI expansion and the future of capital markets. The event aims to connect global investors with growth opportunities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the wider GCC.

Institutions managing assets worth over US$1 trillion are expected to attend, reflecting increasing global interest in the MENA region. Key sessions will cover IPO trends, fintech and real estate investment reforms, venture capital strategies, and innovations in market liquidity and investor relations. In 2024 alone, GCC IPOs raised more than US$13 billion, while bond and sukuk issuance approached US$150 billion.
Riad Meliti, CEO of Arqaam Capital, stated that this edition comes at a crucial time as MENA markets show strength in IPOs, bond issuance, and liquidity provision. "The event will connect global investors with key growth opportunities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the wider GCC," he said.
The conference will feature notable speakers such as Abdalla Al Nuaimi from ADX; Klaus Froelich of ADNOC Group; Youssef Salem from ADNOC Drilling; Paul Gamble of Fitch Ratings; Fayez Ibbini from Alpha Data; Mansoor Alfalasi of Dubai Taxi Company; Saif Al Hamhami from Abraj Energy Services; and Haitham Al Salmi of Muscat Stock Exchange.
