Arab Youth Centre Concludes Podcast Training Programme At BRIDGE Summit 2025 In Abu Dhabi
The Arab Youth Centre is set to participate in the BRIDGE Summit 2025, scheduled from 8–10 December in Abu Dhabi. This event will feature a dedicated pavilion showcasing the Centre's influential programmes and initiatives that are shaping the future of the region. The Centre aims to engage with high-level regional and global platforms to explore innovation, empowerment tools, and the role of youth in media, economic, digital, and creative transformations across the Arab world.
Fatma Al Hallami, Executive Director of the Arab Youth Centre, expressed that their participation at BRIDGE underscores their belief in youth as a driving force for development. She stated, "Our presence at BRIDGE reflects our belief that young people are the engine of development in our region. This summit is a powerful platform to present the Centre’s impactful programmes and long-term initiatives that empower Arab youth to build new skills, expand their knowledge, and strengthen their contribution to the creative and digital economy."
The Centre recently concluded its fourth edition of the Arab Youth Podcast Training Programme. This initiative was attended by Abdulla bin Mohamed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of BRIDGE, and Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre. Over three weeks, 29 participants from 16 Arab countries engaged in a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip them with storytelling, voice, and production skills necessary for launching podcast ventures.
Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi highlighted the importance of enhancing Arab youth's creative abilities amid rapid digital content evolution. He remarked on how podcasting offers young people new avenues to share perspectives and document experiences. "Today, the world of podcasting represents new opportunities for young people to voice their perspectives, document their experiences, and express their values," he said.
The Centre's pavilion at BRIDGE Summit will provide an extensive overview of its development programmes and media empowerment initiatives. It will also highlight projects targeting emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, creative content production, humanitarian innovation, climate action, and more. The pavilion aims to demonstrate the measurable impact of these initiatives on advancing youth engagement across critical growth areas.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet standout youth models who have emerged through these programmes. Among them are Hamdan Al Ali from UAE with his AI-powered electronic game for screening developmental language disorders; Hassan Mohamed Hassan from Egypt who founded Young Film School; and Noor Wissam Al-Asadi from Iraq who leads Lisan, an AI company focused on Arabic-led innovations.
Strategic Direction for Future Economies
The Centre's involvement in the Summit reflects its strategic direction: investing in youth potential and preparing them for future economies by integrating them into core tracks like innovation and sustainability. By showcasing successful programmes, it highlights youth as co-architects of regional development journeys.
Fatma Al Hallami further added about collaboration with BRIDGE: "Our collaboration with BRIDGE embodies our shared commitment to unlocking youth potential... equipping emerging talents with tools to shape future... elevate Middle East." This partnership aims at widening access to opportunities for young talents.
The Arab Youth Centre continues its commitment by engaging with platforms like BRIDGE Summit 2025. By doing so, it reinforces its dedication towards empowering young individuals across various sectors while highlighting their contributions towards regional growth.
