Al Khair Voluntary Award Celebrates Contributions Of 75 Volunteers In Hatta Ceremony
The ninth edition of the Al Khair Voluntary Award celebrated 75 volunteers at the Hatta Honey Bee Garden in Dubai. These individuals were acknowledged for their outstanding contributions to community service and promoting values of generosity and unity. Engineer Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Al Khair Voluntary Award, presented appreciation certificates to these volunteers.
Sheikh Salem highlighted the vital role volunteers play in enhancing human connections and supporting the UAE's future vision. He remarked, "These volunteers are the beating heart of our society. Each one of them is a model of inspiration and dedication." His speech underscored the importance placed on volunteer work by the country's leadership.

The event was graced by Sheikh Rashid bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Mohamed Ahmed Salem, Ambassador of Mauritania to the UAE, Zia Azzam Rahman, Consul-General of Grenada in Dubai, and Firas Aziz bin Darwish, Deputy Chairman of the Al Khair Voluntary Award. Numerous officials and attendees also participated in this significant occasion.
Sheikh Salem emphasised that President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with other leaders, are committed to supporting volunteer institutions towards international goals. Their Highnesses' dedication to volunteerism reflects their vision for fostering global cooperation.
Firas Aziz bin Darwish expressed pride in witnessing such a large group of dedicated volunteers. He stressed their crucial role in shaping a brighter future. He stated, "Volunteer work is one of the greatest forms of giving, and it is an integral part of the UAE’s national identity."
He further noted that since its inception, the UAE has consistently provided humanitarian aid without expecting anything in return. This tradition underscores the nation's commitment to goodwill and human values.

The Deputy Chairman also mentioned that today's recognition serves as a message of gratitude to those who believe change starts with giving. The Good Award remains devoted to acknowledging efforts that promote these values within society.
