Al Bader Festival To Highlight Islamic Arts And Prophet’s Teachings
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the Al Bader Festival will take place from 12th to 26th September. The 2024 edition, organised with the Ministry of Culture, Fujairah, will be held at the Fujairah Creative Centre.
This year's festival coincides with the birth anniversary of the Prophet (Mawlid) and will feature a variety of events highlighting key aspects from the distinguished biography of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It aims to present Islamic values and teachings through diverse activities.

The third edition of the Al Bader Festival will also feature bands specialised in religious chanting and the Prophet’s (PBUH) verses. These bands represent several Arab and Islamic countries, along with Emirati Mawlid bands. They will showcase different ways in which Islamic communities across the world celebrate their religious and cultural heritage on this significant occasion.
Additionally, the Festival will showcase multifaceted elements of Islamic arts through workshops and art exhibitions. Several artists will participate, presenting works related to the Prophet’s (PBUH) biography. Masters of Arabic calligraphy will conduct workshops as well.
The festival seeks to raise awareness about these values and demonstrate their manifestations in daily life, emphasising their influence on individual behaviour and ethics. Interactive platforms for public engagement will also be available throughout the event.
