ADNOC Unveils AED 54 Billion Worth Of Contracts For UAE Suppliers In Second Half Of 2025

ADNOC has revealed AED54 billion ($14.7 billion) in contracts awarded to UAE suppliers in the latter half of 2025. This announcement was made during the ninth Business Partnership Forum, held alongside ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi. The contracts cover strategic services, drilling, maintenance, logistics, digital solutions, and major projects within ADNOC Group. These initiatives highlight ADNOC's commitment to bolstering the UAE economy by creating opportunities for local manufacturers and service providers.

Omar Abdulla Alnuiami, ADNOC's Acting Director of Group Commercial and In-Country Value Directorate, stated: "ADNOC is accelerating the UAE’s industrial growth and economic diversification and providing our partners greater visibility into our procurement pipeline as we deliver on our strategic priorities." He emphasised that these procurement efforts are designed to enhance local economic resilience and ensure products previously imported are now produced domestically.

ADNOC Announces AED 54 Billion Contracts

During ADIPEC, 12 new local manufacturing facilities were announced. These developments are part of ADNOC's In-Country Value (ICV) programme aimed at boosting the UAE's industrial sector. The programme has already driven AED242 billion ($65.9 billion) back into the UAE economy since 2018 and facilitated employment for 18,500 Emiratis in the private sector.

ADNOC aims to manufacture AED90 billion ($24.5 billion) worth of products locally by 2030. The ICV programme is expected to inject an additional AED200 billion ($54.5 billion) into the UAE economy over the next five years. This initiative underscores ADNOC's role as a key driver of national growth and economic diversification.

In conjunction with the forum, ADNOC signed framework agreements valued at AED2.6 billion ($708.5 million) with companies like Emerson Process Management Distribution Limited and Yokogawa Middle East & Africa. These agreements focus on integrated control systems, automation, and safety products manufactured in the UAE, enhancing ADNOC’s digitalisation efforts.

The forum also introduced policy updates to simplify supplier engagement with ADNOC. These changes aim to improve transparency and ease of business operations for both local and international partners. By doing so, ADNOC strengthens its position as a trusted business partner within the UAE economy.

Enhancing Economic Diversification

This year's Business Partnership Forum gathered government stakeholders along with local and international companies to explore opportunities that enhance the UAE’s industrial ecosystem. The theme ‘From Outlook to Outcome - Partnering for National Growth’ highlighted procurement prospects for private-sector firms and SMEs.

The forum showcased how ADNOC is channeling demand from procurement opportunities to boost local market competitiveness while ensuring sustainable growth across its operations. This approach aligns with their strategic priorities of strengthening supply chain efficiency.

The event underscored ADNOC’s determination to drive sustainable growth by enhancing local market competitiveness through its procurement pipeline for 2026-2027. This initiative reflects their ongoing commitment to fostering a robust industrial base across key zones in Abu Dhabi, Al Ruwais, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah.
