ADJD Introduces AI-Driven Digital Notary Services To Enhance Efficiency And User Experience
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has introduced a digital notary services platform. This platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to conduct notary transactions and attestations. It offers approved templates for powers of attorney, declarations, and contracts. These are based on standards set by notary publics, allowing for instant approval of transactions.
According to Counselor Yousef Said Al Abri, Undersecretary of the ADJD, this digital transformation aligns with the directives of Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The aim is to enhance various sectors by leveraging modern technologies to deliver high-quality services that meet international standards. This initiative strengthens Abu Dhabi's competitive position.

The platform signifies a significant advancement in using AI for completing notary transactions and authentications. It simplifies the application process through electronic channels and reduces the time needed for power of attorney transactions, declarations, and contracts. Users benefit from interactive and innovative services provided by the Judicial Department.
Key features of the digital platform include streamlining notary transactions by eliminating unnecessary steps. It reduces required inputs by using user data from government data interchange after registration with the UAE Pass. This is particularly beneficial for transactions related to land ownership in Abu Dhabi, licensed vehicles, commercial licenses issued by the Emirate, registered cases, and powers of attorney issued by the Judicial Department.
The platform employs cutting-edge technologies to simplify procedures. Manual signatures are replaced with digital authentication through the UAE Pass and Government Data Interchange Platform. This allows for extracting necessary documents for transactions efficiently.
Visual communication technologies are used for transactions requiring visits to a notary public office. Approved templates and forms are provided according to specified standards, removing the need for human review. Once approved, transactions are issued and sent electronically.
This initiative represents a leap forward in enhancing user experience with innovative services from the Judicial Department. By reducing transaction times and simplifying processes, it enriches users' interactions with judicial services.
