AD Ports Group Expands International Network With First Office In China To Enhance Trade Engagement

AD Ports Group has inaugurated its first international office in China, marking a significant step in its global growth plan. This office is strategically located in China's central policymaking hub. It will oversee the Group's commercial and investment efforts across China and Asia. The new office complements AD Ports Group's existing network of over 140 offices worldwide.

The Beijing office was officially opened by Samir Chaturvedi, Chief International Business Officer of AD Ports Group and CEO of Noatum Logistics; Abdulaziz Zayed Al-Shamsi, Regional CEO of AD Ports Group; and Ellie Hioe, General Manager of Noatum Logistics – Greater China. This establishment allows for closer collaboration with key government figures, strategic partners, clients, and investors.

AD Ports Group Opens First Office in China

By setting up in China's capital, AD Ports Group aims to align with the country's development goals and quickly seize emerging trade and logistics opportunities. Noatum Logistics will also operate a new branch from this location, focusing on the Beijing-Tianjin region—a crucial domestic market with over 110 million people.

The office is pivotal for expanding the Group's presence domestically and along China's Belt and Road Initiative. This initiative includes maritime routes linking Asia, Africa, and Europe, as well as multimodal corridors connecting markets across China, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

The new office will serve as a vital platform to connect potential clients and investors to AD Ports Group’s integrated global trade ecosystem. It will coordinate investments, foster new business ventures, and facilitate capital inflows from Chinese investors into the UAE.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, stated: "As the world’s largest exporter and driver of supply chain development, China is actively reshaping international trade. AD Ports Group shares China’s vision for greater cross border integration."

Expanding Logistics Capabilities

The Group plans to expand Noatum Logistics' capabilities within China to offer comprehensive logistics solutions tailored to China's growing domestic market needs. The country's GDP is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.5% through 2030.

With China's logistics market projected to grow at a 4.6% CAGR through 2030, AD Ports Group aims to become a major logistics player serving key industry sectors across every link of their supply chain.

The establishment of this office signifies AD Ports Group's commitment to strengthening ties with China while enhancing its global trade network. By aligning with China's economic strategies and expanding logistics services domestically, the Group positions itself as a key player in facilitating international trade connections.
