Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship Begins Tomorrow In Historic Al Ain City
The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) is set to host its eighth edition in Al Ain, marking the first time the event will be held in this historic city. This championship has previously been successful in locations such as Abu Dhabi, Paris, Balneário Camboriú, and Rio de Janeiro. The event highlights the region's dedication to excellence in combat sports.
A press conference in Al Ain announced the event, featuring fighters facing off before an enthusiastic audience. Several notable figures attended, including Tareq Al Bahri from International Vision Sports Management (IVSM), Saeed Al Dhaheri from DCT Abu Dhabi, and athletes like Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu and Amir Albazi.

Tareq Al Bahri expressed pride in announcing the completion of preparations for ADXC 8. He stated that this event reaffirms Abu Dhabi's position as a leading promoter of jiu-jitsu and martial arts globally. "Today, with immense pride, we announce the completion of preparations for the eighth edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship, which will take place in Al Ain City, reaffirming Abu Dhabi's position as the world's largest promoter of jiu-jitsu and martial arts," he said.
Al Bahri also highlighted the UAE's vision that blends heritage with innovation. He thanked the Al Ain and Al Dhafra Regional Development Department at DCT Abu Dhabi for their support. Their contributions have significantly boosted the growth and prominence of these sports.
Saeed Al Dhaheri emphasised that ADXC 8 enhances the emirate's status as a global hub for sporting events.
