The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence's introduction of the "Dubai AI Seal" has captured the attention of the global tech community, with 325 companies based in Dubai, representing 77 international offices, applying for this pioneering certification. This initiative underscores Dubai's commitment to fostering a transparent, trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem, promoting responsible AI innovation globally.
The "Dubai AI Seal" serves as a comprehensive framework, catering to both local and international AI companies operating in Dubai. It aims to enhance trust and transparency in AI applications, facilitating stronger collaborations between the government and technology providers. This initiative is accessible to all companies in Dubai that integrate AI into their products or services, offering them an opportunity to apply for certification at no cost via the official website.

During the Dubai AI Week, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum engaged with leaders of the first companies awarded the prestigious "Dubai AI Seal." Notably, e& and IBM were among the initial recipients to achieve the "Tier S" classification, the highest level of certification. This certification spans various industries, including software, health, and real estate, highlighting entities such as Beinex Consulting and InnovaSense.
Certified companies, upon receiving their unique serial number and tier classification, gain the privilege to showcase the Seal across their digital and promotional materials. This certification is also a prerequisite for future government-led AI projects, positioning these companies as priority partners for government collaborations. This initiative not only elevates the standards of AI but also bolsters Dubai's reputation as a leader in responsible AI innovation.
Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, highlighted the Seal's role in attracting top-tier tech companies and startups globally. The goal is to cultivate a trusted network of AI pioneers, poised to lead future projects across Dubai's diverse sectors. This endeavor aligns with Dubai's vision to be at the forefront of technology and innovation, establishing a benchmark for AI excellence worldwide.
Shukri Eid from IBM emphasised the Seal's acknowledgment of IBM's commitment to ethical AI development, while Dena Almansoori of e& appreciated the recognition of their efforts in deploying responsible AI solutions. Similarly, leaders from Beinex Consulting, iO Health, and CAMB.AI expressed their pride in contributing to Dubai's AI-first strategy, emphasizing the transformative power of AI in advancing industry standards and societal well-being.
Christian Kunz from Prop-AI and Murali Rachamalla of Rounak articulated their companies' alignment with Dubai's vision, underlining the importance of adopting AI responsibly. Bahman Kazemian of InnovaSense and Rabeeh Abla from CSP Solutions echoed these sentiments, highlighting the significance of the Seal in establishing trust and ethical standards in AI applications.
The "Dubai AI Seal" represents Dubai's proactive approach to shaping the future of AI, focusing on ethical, transparent, and responsible innovation. This certification program not only reinforces Dubai's position as a global leader in AI but also sets a global benchmark for AI standards, encouraging companies worldwide to adopt best practices in AI development and deployment.
